The problem

Working across coding assistants makes it difficult to understand where time and tokens go.

The approach

Agent Watchtower collects hook events and session logs from Claude Code, Codex, and Hermes into a local SQLite database, with a dashboard for exploring the activity.

My work

Event capture, session normalization, local storage, and dashboard presentation.

A design lesson

Observability should explain its measurements. Estimated API-price cost and active hours need context; they are not the same as a subscription bill or a timesheet.
